
The Emergent Leadership Series prepares and develops council staff with diverse backgrounds that are ready for senior leadership roles within their respective careers through a proven comprehensive content curriculum facilitated by subject matter experts.

OBJECTIVES:
This series provides a leadership development program for participants by creating meaningful experiences in which future leaders can:
- Acquire targeted, concentrated knowledge and experiences within leadership, business and skill areas of focus.
- Build relationships across the community.
- Enhance systems thinking and cross-functional awareness and interactions.
- Interact with and be exposed to senior industry and corporate leadership and senior Executive Board officers.
- Realize personal growth.
SCHEDULE:
- Mid Summer: Welcome/Orientation call (1 hr)
- Late Summer: Prep work for launch
- September: Program launch-retreat #1 (3 day, 2 night)
- Weekly online leadership course content. (1 hr)
- Weekly reading (Total of 1 book to complete each month) (2-6 hrs/mo)
- Weekly digital check in with team to discuss content between in person meetings. (15 min – 1 hr)
- Monthly virtual retreat meeting day. (3-4 hrs)
- Monthly check in w/ supervisor and guide. (1 hr)
- Monthly In-council “go-see-its” (1-2 hrs)
- Mid-Winter-Retreat #2 (3 day, 2 night)
- Spring-Capstone-retreat #3 (3 day, 2 night)
Course Fee: $1750
Payment Schedule:
$875 by August 18, 2025
$875 by January 9, 2026
Fee covers all of the course sessions, materials, live and digital content, lodging, food, facilitator and speaker fees, and assessments.
