Welcoming Arrow of Light Scouts
These great videos gives explanations to Troops on the new Arrow of Light requirements (effective June 1, 2024) and how to work with Packs to welcome Arrow of Light Scouts into your Troop. AOL dens will be looking to visit Troops in early Fall of their AOL year, so plan early to have enticing activities for when they visit.
Know AOL requirements and invite dens to meetings where you are working on similar requirements. For example:
-
- AOL Bobcat Adventure, one of the first of the year, requires dens to visit Scouts BSA Troops
- AOL Citizenship Adventure has a service project requirement – invite dens to take part in a project with the Troop
- AOL First Aid Adventure is similar to first aid in the Troop – having a First Aid night, invite the den
