Don’t Wait!  Renew Today!

It’s annual renewal time for our amazing Merit Badge Counselors, Nova Counselors, and Supernova Mentors.  If you serve in one of these important roles, you must annually renew your information.

Please complete the appropriate online renewal form(s) as linked below.  Certain situations may require the upload of supporting documentation – adding Merit Badges, certifications for certain Merit Badges, and adding Supernova awards to your profile.  All current counselors are encouraged to submit the form even if they are no longer interested — simply indicate that you no longer want to serve.

In addition, all counselors must have a current Youth Protection Training (YPT) certificate.  All registered adults must take YPT every two years to remain current.  You will be asked for the date * of your last YPT certificate.

* To find this date, and your BSA ID (which will also be needed), log into your my.scouting account.  YPT can be found under Menu –> My Training, and the BSA ID can be found by clicking My Profile in the upper right corner of the screen.

Failure to renew by June 1, 2023 will result in your status as a counselor to be dropped.
