Dear Bay Lakes Council parents and volunteers:

As you may be aware, the Bay Lakes Council has been in the midst of a great deal of change. Change is an ever-constant state for our lives today. One of the changes that the leadership of the council is considering is a transfer of territory of the Upper Peninsula (UP) of Michigan from the Bay Lakes Council to the Michigan Crossroads Council. Know that no decisions have been made and we will be focused on doing what is best for our families and volunteers who live in the UP.

As we are evaluating this issue, we want to hear from you. We will be conducting three fireside chats on September 3, 4 and 5 at three locations across the UP. These fireside chats will be facilitated by the Council Key 3’s of both the Bay Lakes and Michigan Crossroads Councils.
