What is the 9/11 Salute and Day of Remembrance?
What is the 9/11 Salute and Day of Remembrance?
In 2025, this annual event now in its 24th year is an opportunity for families and communities to come together to remember and honor those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, as well as to thank and honor our Military, Veterans, Police, Fire, and EMS personnel. Over the past few years, additional locations throughout the state have been added as the event has grown.
The 9-11 Community Day of Remembrance and Scout Salute is open to all members of the community, religious organizations, educational institutions, social and civic organizations, businesses, and local, state, and national agencies, organizations and associations.
