On behalf of the Executive Board, Scouts and Scouters, and our Michigan Crossroads Council professional staff, we want to extend a warm welcome to you, our newest family in the Scouting program, here in Michigan/
We are celebrating more than 107 years of Scouting in America! What an adventure it has been, and yet to be! Here in Michigan Crossroads Council, that adventure of Scouting is being realized every week at the Den, Troop and Crew meetings, outings, treks and camp programs.
You have joined a vibrant, dynamic, and growing program which has the collective support of hundreds of community organizations, institutions, chartered partners, and dozens of other youth-serving agencies.
The Organization of the Michigan Crossroads Council is unique to Michigan. The Michigan Crossroads Council (MCC) was created by the merger of nine councils in the lower peninsula of Michigan. It is a coordinating council that oversees properties, personnel, and program. This MCC is then split into four “Field Service Councils” which are then divided into districts.
- Great Lakes Field Service Council
- President Gerald R. Ford Field Service Council
- Southern Shores Field Service Council
- Water & Woods Field Service Council
