About Our Staff
All of our staff are interviewed and go through a complete background check before being hired. As role models, staff are selected for sound judgment, maturity, experience, enthusiasm, and creativity. Training occurs both before and throughout the summer to ensure staff are providing the best possible experience for campers. Staff in leadership roles, shooting sports, and aquatics have received appropriate training and certifications from the Boy Scouts of America, National Camp Association, and other certifying organizations. All staff are also certified in First Aid and CPR.
We Are a Licensed, Nationally Accredited Camp
Our camp meets State of Michigan licensing requirements, which focus on health, safety, and program quality. In addition, Rota-Kiwan Scout Reservation meets the rigid standards for program, facilities, and operation to be a Nationally Accredited Boy Scouts of America Camp. We are committed to providing a wide-variety of safe and fun experiences to all campers.
